1. Policy for the Prevention and Combating of Violence & Harassment

Purpose and Commitment

Our purpose is to protect employees and all individuals interacting with the company from any form of work-related violence and harassment. The company demonstrates zero tolerance and commits to:

  • Investigating every incident with objectivity and respect for human dignity.

  • Taking the necessary measures and supporting victims.

  • Ensuring an environment free from violence, whether originating from within the company or from third parties (customers, visitors, etc.).

Scope of Application

This policy applies to all employees (regardless of employment status), executives, interns, volunteers, and job applicants. It applies:

  • In all workplaces, offices, customer facilities, and rest/dining areas.

  • During work-related travel, trips, training sessions, or social activities organized by the company.

  • In all work-related communications, including digital media (emails, ICT).

Definitions and Forms of Violence

  • Violence: Behaviors or threats that lead to physical, psychological, sexual, or economic harm.

  • Harassment: Behaviors that violate personal dignity and create an intimidating or hostile environment, including harassment based on gender or sexual orientation.

  • Types: Incidents covered include those perpetrated by individuals with no connection to the workplace (e.g., robbery), by customers, or by individuals with a personal relationship to the employee when manifested in the workplace.

Reporting Procedure and Grievance Management

  • Any employee who is a victim of or witnesses violence must move to a safe place and report it immediately.

  • Reporting Officer (Liaison): Mr. Emmanouil Mangos is responsible for receiving, investigating, and managing complaints with full confidentiality.

  • Investigation: The process involves interviews with the complainant, the alleged perpetrator, and witnesses. The results are communicated within 3 weeks.

  • Protection against Retaliation: Any retaliatory action against an individual who filed a good-faith complaint is strictly prohibited.

Consequences of Violations

In the event that a violation is established, the employer takes measures such as:

  • Compliance recommendations, change of position, shift, or workplace location.

  • Termination of employment (dismissal).

  • Police involvement in cases of physical assault.

Support for Domestic Violence

The company encourages the reporting of such incidents to management so that protective measures can be taken, such as special leave or flexible working arrangements, ensuring job retention and the smooth reintegration of the victim.

  • Rational Management: Implementation of material recycling and safe waste management programs across our facilities whenever required.

  • To ensure an environment free from violence, whether it comes from within the company or from third parties (customers, visitors, etc.).

  • Violence: Behaviors or threats that lead to physical, psychological, sexual or economic harm.
  • Harassment: Behaviors that violate dignity and create an intimidating or hostile environment, including harassment based on gender or sexual orientation.
  • Types: Incidents are covered by individuals unrelated to the workplace (e.g. theft), by customers or by individuals with a personal relationship with the employee that occur in the workplace.

Reporting and Complaints Management Process

Any employee who becomes a victim or observes violence must go to a safe place and report it immediately.

  • Reporting Officer (Link): Mr. Mangos Emmanuel is responsible for receiving, investigating and managing complaints with complete confidentiality.
  • Investigation: The process includes interviews with the complainant, the alleged perpetrator and witnesses. The results are communicated within 3 weeks.
  • Protection from Retaliation: Any retaliatory action against a person who has filed a good faith report is expressly prohibited.

Consequences of Violations

In the event of a violation being detected, the employer takes measures such as:

  • Compliance recommendation, change of position, hours or place of work.
  • Termination of the employment relationship (dismissal).
  • Police involvement in cases of physical assault.

Domestic Violence Support

The company encourages reporting such incidents to the manager so that protective measures, such as special leaves or flexible working arrangements, can be taken to maintain employment and facilitate the victim’s smooth reintegration.
